Obviously, the drivers working for ubiCabs partner fleets are putting in the hours on Bank Holidays during the Christmas period, and as a result they’re on higher wages, so the rates are up a bit. Here are the details.
6pm Christmas Eve – 11.59pm Boxing Day, rates will be +50%
6pm New Year’s Eve – 11.59pm New Year’s Day, rates will be +50%
These increases will automatically be added to quotes in the ubiCabs app and on the website for any bookings on the given dates, whether placed in advance or ASAP. You won’t have to do anything, and as always, the quote you see is the maximum you will pay, so your ride may end up cheaper.
While we’re here. Don’t use illegal minicabs when you’re out this Christmas. Whether it’s the office Christmas party or a few drinks on Christmas Eve, it’s not worth the risk.
