An excellent letter to Mayor Boris Johnson from a licensed taxi driver in London about the influence of illegal taxi touts and the lack of enforcement and prosecution by the city. It highlights the points that illegal touting is being allowed to happen and therefore touts no longer fear being prosecuted. This is adversely affecting the licensed taxi industry and decreasing access for customers to safe and licensed taxis around London late at night.
