Why is ubiCabs called ubiCabs? Well, ‘ubi’ is the Latin interrogative for ‘Where?’ as in, when on the phone to a cab company “[shouted] Where’s my (insert profanity if desired) cab (insert please if profanity omitted)?”
So when you’re calling cab companies in a rush, demanding to know ubi they are, remember that we called ubiCabs ubiCabs because our customers know where to get a cab from, and where their cab is while it travels to them, without calling anyone at all.
